Web and Game Design - Vaporare
Vaporware is a collaborative project for the Eternity Engine I'm working on along with a few other talented Doom mappers. The project's aim is to create maps that not only utilize the engines capabilities, but to also create something that is as rewarding to play as it is to look at. In addition to the level design work I'm doing, I also designed the website for the project, which is where we're going to be posting screenshots and information on the project as development progresses.
Web Log section back up

As if the title of this post isn’t self-explanatory enough, the Web Log section is back up and running. I was contemplating removing it, but I thought I’d make some use of it after all. In case you’re too lazy to read my latest blog post, I’m planning on using the section to post mini-articles and map reviews. If you have a map you’d like me to review, don’t hesitate to pester me until I do so!
Progress.

Okay, so this web log hasn’t been put to very good use since I set it up way back in July. The main reason for that is simple: I’m already maintaining a personal blog over on LiveJournal. I didn’t really have any need for more than one blog… or so it seemed. Well, I was thinking of ways I could actually put this section to some use, as opposed to letting it gather dust for all eternity. I think I’ve come up with a pretty decent solution, too.
To kick things off, I’m going to be keeping the personal crap down to a minimum. If you’re even remotely interested in what goes on in my life on a daily basis, you’re going to want to check my LiveJournal instead. Instead, I’m going to use this to post about my game/web design endeavors, and little projects I’ve been working on that don’t really warrant a news update on the main section of my site. In addition to that, I was also planning on starting up doing some Doom map reviews again. I may not be a very active Doom mapper these days, but I still love the game and play it on occasion. I might also post little mini-articles on whatever happens to be sparking my interest, too. Who knows? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
On that note, I’m accepting requests for maps to review. Have a totally awesome map you want good ol’ Agent Spork to review? Well, just ask! Leave me a comment or something, and I’ll give it a go.
Intentionally misspelling something makes it cool

After disappearing without a trace for almost an eternity, I’ve returned with an update to my Game Design section. Thanks to the efforts of Kaiser to accurately port the awesome game known as Doom 64 to the PC with his awesome Doom64 EX port, I’ve been focusing my mapping efforts on learning to create maps for Doom 64. As a way of learning how to properly utilize the game’s features, I’ve started up a little project I like to call Dhume 64, which is, well… why don’t you just go check out the project’s page for more information? What are you, lazy?
Peace out. More updates whenever I’m not busy doing other stuff.
